ABOUT EXECUTIVE COORDINATING BODY

The executive coordinating body is the highest administrative body which in coordination and cooperation with Liaison group  serves as the link between China and CEEC to exchange information, conduct policy dialogues, strengthen consensus and promote cooperation, and as a platform for cooperation contacts between Chinese and CEEC institutions, organizations and enterprises and their counterparts. The executive coordinating body plays its due role in promoting of sustainable and multifunctional forest management, protection of wetland and wildlife, developing green economy and eco culture.
The executive coordinating body is based in Ljubljana in the Slovenian capital and located at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food of the Republic of Slovenia. A special department within the Ministry is established in order to coordinate cooperation of Central and Eastern European Countries with the People’s Republic of China in the field of forestry.
The executive coordinating body of the Coordinating Mechanism in Forestry is managed and represented by the Director and supported by the secretariat:
